About
Loupe This was founded in 2021 by internationally renowned watch collectors and experts, Eric Ku and Justin Gruenberg. Loupe This is a community-driven online auction house for buying and selling of exceptional wristwatches.
Hands-on Approach
We manage the entire process in-house from start to finish. All the watches listed are selected, louped, inspected, photographed and held by Loupe This, so you can bid with confidence. Unlike traditional auction houses, we do not require your watch for a long period prior to it being auctioned. Our aim is to streamline and greatly reduce the time between consignment and payment. We offer highly competitive and straight-forward commission fees. Sellers pay a one-off consignment fee and buyers pay 10% on the hammer price. See How It Works.
Don’t just take our word for it
Loupe This operates with complete transparency, and thus welcomes comments and input from the global watch community for each and every watch on sale. Whilst bidding on and winning watches are central to the Loupe This experience, for many of us celebrating the craft of watchmaking is just as important. Registered members of the Loupe This community can comment on any listing, offering insight and opinions regarding the watches up for auction; much like the trusted and reliable watch forums that have traditionally shaped the wristwatch marketplace.
