Introduction
Part of the Langematik collection that debuted in 2001, the Langematik Perpetual Calendar in platinum remains understated and timeless, as is often the case for Lange’s beautiful designs. Fitted with perhaps one of the most revered complications in all of watchmaking, the example we have here, the ref. 310.025F boasts a perpetual calendar, as its name implies, alongside a moonphase indicator, a 24-hour indicator and Lange’s signature outsize date apertures at 12 o’clock. All housed within its 38.5mm platinum case, the ref. 310.025F is an incredibly impressive piece of watchmaking that showcases Lange’s ability as one of the finest watchmakers in the world. Featuring a silver dial with applied Roman numerals, and simple polishing across the majority of its case, with the exception of a brushed midcase, the ref. 310.025F lacks exuberant detailing that might distract from the impressive craftsmanship that has gone into its production. Powered by the automatic cal. L922.1, the ref. 310.025F boasts an automatic micro-rotor made of gold with an outer mass made of platinum and a zero-reset function that is truly complex to design and allows the wearer to easily synchronize their watch to their reference time. An exploration of Lange’s impeccable craftsmanship, the ref. 310.025F has remained as impressive as it was when it first debuted, proving just how talented Lange are, and how much they deserve their standing as one of the finest watchmakers on the market today.

THE DIAL
Featuring a silver dial with applied Roman numerals, the Langematik Perpetual's monochromatic design relies on its moonphase indicator at 6 o'clock and leap year indicator at 4 o'clock to supply the only two bursts of color on the dial. An example of Lange's restrained design language proving that less is often more.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Measuring just 38.5mm in diameter, the Langematik Perpetual proves that a complicated watch doesn't have to be large, with its perfectly proportioned platinum case wearing beautifully on the wrist.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in near mint overall condition. Minor hairlines can be seen along the bezel when inspected closely. The dial is near-mint and does not show any defects or aging. Please note, the original lange strap has been replaced with a sued ABP strap. The original platinum tang buckle is still included, as are the original boxes and papers.
Our Perspective
Proving that less is more, the Langematik Perpetual provides a wealth of horological engineering in a compact package that wears incredibly well, even though it is incredibly complex and made of hefty platinum.
