Introduction
First released in 1994 as Lange & Söhne's prototypical dress watch, the Saxonia has had an undeniable air of elegance, sophistication, and stunning design baked into its aesthetic since it first made its way onto the wrists of watch collectors. Since then, the collection has evolved to include some of the most stunning dress watches around, much like the ref. 105.021 that we have here. Crafted from 18k yellow gold and featuring a stunning symmetrical champagne dial with Lange & Söhne's signature outsize date complication and a small seconds subdial to boot, the Saxonia is a refined design of utter elegance and decorum. Sporting an exhibition caseback, the Saxonia ref. 105.021 proudly displays its immaculately finished manual-wind movement – perhaps one of Lange's most esteemed features. Considered to be one of the ultimate dress watches, it doesn't take too long to figure out why collectors hold Lange & Söhne to such high regard - their watches are simply incredible.

Our Perspective
Regarded just as highly as the Holy Trinity in terms of quality, attention to detail, and overall horological excellence, it is only a matter of time before the wider watchmaking community begins to see the actual value Lange & Söhne and their offerings represent. This "Neo-Vintage" Lange Saxonia has increasingly become coveted by collectors for its Teutonic good looks and perfect size and proportions.
