Introduction
An architect and designer by trade, it is no surprise that Alain Silberstein’s timepieces feature some of the most unique aesthetic choices you'll see through the use of bright colors, odd geometric shapes, distinctive artistry and impeccable originality. Founded in 1987, Alain Silberstein represents the less serious side of watchmaking without sacrificing quality, craftsmanship, or attention to detail – tenants of modern fine horology. With the brand no longer producing watches of their own, Alain Silberstein’s influence on the industry is now represented through collaborations, discontinued pieces or unusual limited edition collections like the Dragon Series that we have here. Limited to just ten pieces, this stainless steel model carries a more refined aesthetic than Alain’s other colorful timepiece with a black dial sporting an intricately designed red dragon on the lower portion of its black dial. With unique hands, applied dot hour markers and Alain Silberstein’s typical can-style two-piece case, this watch celebrates Alain Silberstein’s unusual design language in a manner that few of his more ostentatious designs can replicate.

THE DIAL
While not featuring Alain Siberstein's typically whimsical hands and dial design, the Dragon Series does feature an impressively ornate dragon on its black dial in an emotive shade of red.

THE CONSTRUCTION
With its tall 37mm wide stainless steel case, dark black and red dial and black leather strap, this dragon-themed timepiece packs a seriously impressive presence on the wrist.

Condition
In excellent overall condition. The dial is well preserved and the Dragon is a nice vibrant red. The case with light surface wear consistent with age. The case back with very crisp inscriptions and only very minor loss to the black enamel. With Velour/Leather strap.
Our Perspective
A wonderfully unique limited edition watch of just 10 pieces, this Dragon Series example typifies Alain Silberstein's unusual design language in a manner that few of his other more ostentatious pieces fail to achieve.
