Introduction
Famed for the signature design that almost all of his watches share, French architect and designer turned watchmaker Alain Silberstein’s timepieces have become increasingly sought-after thanks to their whimsical handsets, colorful designs, and the plethora of complications they often-times feature. By utilizing shapes and colors never seen before in watchmaking, Alain’s design philosophy quickly caught on as collectors saw the value in a unique design language removed from the traditionally conservative styling used by the vast majority of watchmakers. Offered here we have the Krono de Noel, which was launched in 1994 during the Christmas period as a limited edition festive watch of 100 pieces that was inspired by everyone’s favourite time of year. Boasting a white-out dial with white inscriptions and chapter ring markings, its colourful handset stands out against is bright backdrop with Silberstein’s signature handset featuring a strong red presence with the inclusion of some blue and gold. Featuring a chronograph, triple-date and moonphase, the Krono de Noel feeds into Silberstein’s love of giving whacky designs to impressive pieces of horology just as it demonstrates.

Watch is in near-mint condition. Watch is like new, but there is some minor corrosion around the edge of the dial visible in the upper right quadrant.
