Introduction
Serving as a wonderful reminder that AP has created so much more than just their famed Royal Oak and Royal Oak-derived collections, this 18kt yellow gold Dual Time GMT Power Reserve is a beautifully executed piece of horological design. Featuring a stunning polished case with a beautiful stepped bezel and tight lugs, this timepiece's design is as multifaceted as it is capable. While it does feature a rather convenient power reserve indicator, this watch's true convenience comes from its eponymous complication found within the dual-time sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Serving as a fantastic vintage timepiece for the collector searching for something a little more modern, this watch was even rather large for its time, weighing in at 36mm in diameter, the perfect size for most wrists.

THE DIAL
This watch features a dial with an especially clean and legible layout. The fonts utilized predate the current trend of sans-serif typography, which give the watch an old-world charm. The Roman numerals used are reminiscent of those typically found on vintage Breguet dials.

The 36mm case is the perfect size to showcase the complications of the caliber 2129 movement.

Condition
The watch is in excellent condition. White dial is flawless, with no indication of any imperfections. Case is strong with clear hallmarks and serial number. The strap and plated buckle are not original to the watch.

Our Perspective
Although not a Royal Oak, the familiar layout of the power reserve dual time complications make this watch an instantly recognizable classic. A vintage look with modern construction, this watch could easily become a favorite to wear in any watch collection.
