While, of course, best-known for their watches like the Royal Oak, Perpetual Calendars and so forth, Audemars Piguet also produce some of the most extravagant timepieces in Switzerland under their Haute Joaillerie collection whereby they painstakingly create exceedingly rare timepieces that boast incredibly intricate gem-settings, unique constructions and intensely impressive designs. Existing as one of those very watches, the example we have here is a 1 of 1 piece unique from the Haute Joaillerie collection that was likely commissioned by a collector. Made out of 18kt white gold, this timepiece sits on a leather strap and boasts two silver dials that sit below a diamond and gem-set dial cover that is then surrounded by baguette-cut diamonds found along the case and bezel. With rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds cut to resemble flowers, this stunningly impressive timepiece is as wonderfully crafted as it is rare and will certainly make a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection as a stand-out piece that its next owner will never have to worry seeing another of.
