Introduction
Representing AP’s very roots as a traditional watchmaker, the Jules Audemars collection has often been AP’s vehicle to demonstrate their innovative talents as one of horology’s best watchmakers. Launched around 1990, the Jules Audemars Grand Sonnerie for example, was made as a limited edition collection of 50 pieces that was produced over a 7-year timespan due to the incredible complexity of its manual-wind cal. 2868 movement that features both a grande and petite sonnerie. Featuring a stunning symmetrical white dial with applied golden indices and hands, the ref. 25750OR’s white display features no suggestion of the incredibly complex movement that lies beneath it. Instead, AP have only hinted at the cal. 2868’s sonnerie complications through the pusher at 10 o’clock on the ref. 25750OR’s 18kt rose gold case. Housed within an almost perfectly symmetrical 39mm 18kt rose gold case that contrasts a polished bezel with a beautiful satin-brushed midcase, the ref. 25750OR is intensely refined and elegant on the wrist, as one would expect from a watch of this caliber from a brand like Audemars Piguet.

An elegant watch that features every aspect of fine watchmaking that made Audemars Piguet who they are today, the Jules Audemars Grande Sonnerie is a stunning reminder of what happens when AP blends their impeccable craftsmanship with classical aesthetics and some truly exceptional watchmaking prowess.
