Introduction
First released in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore was designed to expand upon Audemars Piguet's ever-iconic Royal Oak collection as a sports-focused timepiece. Designed so that it could take some serious wear and tear while continuing to perform at the highest standards possible, the Royal Oak Offshore epitomized a luxury sports watch by all accounts. Featuring AP's artisanal craftsmanship, avant-garde design, and an impeccable taste for the horological, the Royal Oak Offshore was a true maverick amongst both; AP’s offerings and the entire industry. Launched in the late 2000s as an iced-out version of the Offshore Chronograph, the ref. 26067BC that we have here remains faithful to the original release’s aesthetic with a robust 42mm case, but made in 18kt white gold and boasting an entirely diamond pave-set construction with the Royal Oak Offshore’s iconic integrated leather strap with the very same exposed rubber gasket and winding crown as on the regular model. Featuring a stunning diamond pave-set dial with three silver subdials and a date complication along with a diamond-set bezel, the ref. 26067BC speaks to the Royal Oak Offshore’s fan-favourite aesthetic. Sporting applied hour markers which preserves its functionality, the ref. 26067BC is an endearing combination of design details that make for a rather unique timepiece.

THE DIAL
Rich with information thanks to its trio of silver subdials and date aperture complete with a cyclops lens, the ref. 26067BC's display is thoroughly unique thanks to its diamond-set nature, while still being perfectly legible.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Imposing in its construction and yet artisanal in its execution, the 18kt white gold diamond-set ref. 26067BC speaks to collectors who want the Royal Oak Offshore's rugged utility with a more luxurious style of watchmaking than the Offshore is typically known for.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The white gold case and bezel edges show some light scratches and small nicks. All diamonds and their settings on the case, bezel, lugs, and end pieces are in excellent condition. The case back has light scratches, with very well-defined engravings and hallmarks. The rubber-clad pushers and crown are in excellent condition. The dial and hands are near-mint. It is fitted with an alligator strap and white gold deployant clasp, both in excellent condition. The watch is accompanied by its inner and outer boxes (with key and cover), guarantee, booklets, and hangtag.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
A thoroughly capable timepiece, the Royal Oak Offshore was one of the first watches within the hyper-sports watch category - a category that has since given rise to brands like Richard Mille, and given a platform to brands like Hublot and many others to pivot from.
