Launched in 2011 as a continuation of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s long-standing collaboration with Audemars Piguet, the Royal Oak Offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger The Legacy is a hulking 48mm black ceramic timepiece built to fit Arnie’s style. Made of black ceramic in its majority, it features small accents of grey and pink gold with its titanium bezel screws and 18k rose gold pushers and crown insert that match the 18kt pink gold hands, applied Arabic numerals and rehaut. Featuring AP’s signature 'Méga Tapisserie' pattern on its dial to match its large construction, The Legacy matches Arnie’s own larger-than-life legacy as one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, and one of bodybuilding’s greatest athletes. Launched as a limited edition watch of just 1500 pieces it is no surprise that The Legacy features Arnie’s signature on its caseback to signify the timepiece’s inspiration and further solidify AP and Arnie’s relationship with one another that began all the way back in the late 1990s as the two industry titans collaborated on a watch for one of Arnie’s movies, ‘The End of Days.’ An homage to Schwarzenegger's enduring stature and a testament to Audemars Piguet's relentless pursuit of horological excellence, The Legacy is a truly unique watch befitting of Arnie’s legacy and AP’s place as one of watchmaking’s most revered brands.
