Introduction
The Royal Oak Offshore arrived in 1993 as Audemars Piguet's more muscular interpretation of Gérald Genta's original Royal Oak, with the dedicated diving branch following in 2005 with the Offshore Scuba. By 2021, the concept had evolved into its third generation, retaining the imposing architecture and internal rotating dive bezel while introducing a new movement, refined case finishing and an interchangeable strap system.
The ref. 15720CN was the first limited edition of this new generation and one of its most luxurious interpretations. Limited to 300 pieces, it combines a 42mm 18K white gold case with a contrasting black ceramic bezel and crowns, black Méga Tapisserie dial and warm beige luminous accents. Despite its precious-metal construction, it remains a serious dive watch, with screw-down crowns and 300 metres of water resistance.

THE DIAL
The black dial features Audemars Piguet's signature Méga Tapisserie pattern, complemented by applied white gold hour markers and Royal Oak hands filled with warm beige luminous material. A black rotating inner bezel surrounds the display, with its contrasting beige 60-to-15-minute sector reinforcing the watch's diving credentials.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The substantial 42mm case is crafted from 18K white gold, combining brushed surfaces with polished accents and a contrasting octagonal bezel in black ceramic. Matching ceramic screw-down crowns at three and ten o'clock operate the movement and internal dive bezel respectively, while the case provides water resistance to 300 metres.

Limited to just 300 pieces, the ref. 15720CN takes the deliberately utilitarian concept of a professional dive watch and executes it in unmistakably Audemars Piguet fashion. The combination of weighty white gold, black ceramic and restrained beige detailing gives this Offshore Diver an unusually stealthy appearance, while the calibre 4308 and 300-metre depth rating ensure its substance matches its considerable presence.
