Introduction
Launched as a third collaboration between F.P. Journe, BAIT, and Kokies following an initial triple-collaboration that saw the creation of figurines and a second collaboration that saw the creation of a streetwear capsule between just F.P. Journe and BAIT, what we have here is a second set of figurines, this time inspired by F.P. Journe’s journey to build his business into the watchmaking behemoth that it is today. Debuting in 2022, this set of figurines includes two depictions of F.P. Journe one his youth and one of the esteemed watchmaker today. Dressed in a navy F.P. Journe-branded watchmaker’s coat, the two figurines are joined by seven watches that the figurines can wear interchangeable, with the Francis Ford Coppola x F.P. Journe Only Watch FFC Blue Prototype, a Chronometre Bleu, and a complete set of five F.P. Journe Souscription watches from the brand’s beginnings. Launched as a limited edition set of 500 pieces, this collaboration reveals a lighter side to one of watchmaking’s most important independent brands in living memory in a manner that is fun and light-hearted.
