Introduction
Founded in 1992 by two lifelong French friends as a university project, Bell & Ross has grown from its humble tech startup-esque beginnings into one of the biggest modern watchmakers in the world. Sharing a belief that watches should be functional, durable and rooted in usefulness, Bell & Ross’ founders were convinced that function shaped form, as opposed to the other way around. In just a short 30 or so years, Bell & Ross has become synonymous with aviation and military-themed watches, but they have expanded their offerings into the realm of stylistic expression, with watches such as the BR-05, an integrated bracelet sports watch. Offered here as part of the BR-05 family we have the BR-X5 Ice Blue. Launched in 2022 as an upgraded variant of the BR-05 with a new in-house movement built on top of a Kenissi base, the cal. 323 with its power reserve indicator and date aperture at 3 o’clock gives one of Bell & Ross’ most popular models a technical upgrade deserving of its popularity and stylish design. The resulting 41mm x 12.8mm timepiece showcases Bell & Ross’ unique watchmaking style, a style which has catapulted them to stardom over the last 34+ years.

THE DIAL
Featuring a rich ice blue dial with a three-day power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock balanced by a date aperture at 3 o'clock, the BR-X5's dial design is attractive and symmetrical.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Made from stainless steel and boasting a rounded square case with an integrated bracelet and exposed screws along its bezel, the BR-X5's construction has proven to be wildly popular.

Condition
Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The steel case shows light signs of wear, with surface marks visible on the polished sections. There are a few light scuffs on the edge of the bezel, and some wear is visible on the strap bar screws. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a steel bracelet showing a couple of light marks. The bracelet is fitted with 20 links, 8 of which are removable, and fits approximately an 8” wrist. Comes complete with inner and outer boxes, warranty card, booklet, and a spare blue rubber strap.
