Introduction
Launched in 2005 and drawing inspiration from their long heritage as a fine watch manufacturer, Breguet revealed the La Tradition collection. Rooted in the aesthetic of their early pocketwatches, the La Tradition celebrates the majesty of mechanical watchmaking by revealing the majority of its movement on the dial side of the watch by using a small dial that only obscures a very small portion of the movement. Creating a rather avant-garde aesthetic, the La Tradition brings attention to Breguet’s incredible craftsmanship with its finely finished movement on display behind both sides of its case. Powered by the manual-wind cal. 507 DR, the ref. 7027BB that we have here is rather monochromatic in execution thanks to its anthracite movement, black engine-turned dial and 18kt white gold case. Contrasting its avant-garde display is a rather classical 37mm case with a coin-edge textured mid-case and fairly straight soldered lugs and a gently domed bezel that all combine to give the La Tradition a classic look that appeals to Breguet’s traditionally conservative styling.

THE DIAL
Providing an unencumbered view of its anthracite movement, the La Tradition features a small engine turned black dial at 12 o'clock, with a power reserve indicator just off it at 10 o'clock set on the movement itself.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Boasting a beautiful coin-edge textured midcase, the La Tradition is cold-rolled and then hand-finished to produce a wonderfully luxurious effect, with its coin-edge midcase being a signature of Breguet's.

Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The white gold case is well defined, including the coin-edge sides, with some light scratches and marks on the bezel and lugs. The case back has very crisp engravings and hallmarks on the edge. The guilloché small dial is near mint, and the exposed movement is also near mint. The Breguet hands are like new. It is fitted with an excellent black Breguet alligator strap with a white gold Breguet buckle. The watch comes with its inner and outer boxes, warranty, and booklets.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
