Its name, "Diagono," pays homage to the ancient Greek word "agon," which signifies competition and performance, a testament to its sporting heritage. A harmonious fusion of classic elegance and modern aesthetics, the Diagono speaks to Bulgari’s unique aesthetic with its signature architectural case design, characterized by its unique lug system and circular bezel that features Bulgari’s name engraved deep into its surface. Over the years, the Bulgari Diagono has evolved, incorporating cutting-edge technology, innovative complications, and useful variants just like the Diagono Scuba that we have here, which was designed, as its name implies, as a dive watch. Measuring 38mm in diameter, the Diagono Scuba features and 18kt yellow gold case with a large black dial that sports luminous hour markers and hands that combine to give this watch its diving utility, much like its uni-directional bezel and water resistance of 200m.

Watch is in very good overall condtion. Case is excellent, with only minor surface wear visible. The bezel engravings and surface are clean and still retains all its original enameling. The original dial is in very good condition. The surface is clean and free from any signficant marks or aging, but the luminous has degraded signifcantly and is abraded and strongly discolored. Hand luminous is imperfect as seen in the images.

Combining their Italian flair for design with the functional requirements of a dive watch, the Diagono Scuba is unapologetically Bulgari in its aesthetic and yet still a useful watch all the same.
