Introduction
While not traditionally known for their watchmaking, Bulgari have become one of the most exciting and impressive watchmakers around thanks to their exploits in consistently creating some of the thinnest watches in the world, with several world records under their belt. Crucial to this success has been the Octo Finissimo family. With its angular design, integrated bracelet, and variety of surfaces, it has acted as the vehicle through which Bulgari have showcased their impressive engineering. Launched in 2019, the Octo Finissimo ref. 103126 demonstrates the entirety of Bulgari’s in-house manufacturing talents with its entirely matte black ceramic construction, its openworked anthracite dial, and its incredibly thin nickel-anthracite coated manual-wind cal. BVL 128SK movement, which doubles as the rest of the display. Beautifully finished and boasting a power reserve indicator, running seconds subdial, and openworked bridges, gears, and inner-workings, it makes for quite the incredible display indeed. An impressively executed timepiece, the ref. 103126 demonstrates just how impressive Bulgari have been as of late as they continue to embrace watchmaking and grow into their position as one of the industry’s most impressive talents.
