Introduction
Originally released in 2014, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo burst onto the watchmaking scene as Bulgari's latest entrant into the world of angular integrated bracelet timepieces inspired by Gerald Genta's signature design language. Since then, the Octo Finissimo has been Bulgari's most often-used vehicle for horological innovation. A great display of that very horological prowess, the Octo Finissimo Tuscan ref. 103856 that we have here blends a visually unique copper “Tuscan” dial with the Octo Finissimo’s incredibly thin stainless steel construction and a mesmerizingly thin BVL 318 movement. Secretly released in 2023 as a 50-piece limited edition for the U.S. market before entering general production in 2024, the Tuscan’s stunning dial and construction, as well as an incredible movement, allows this Octo Finissimo to wear almost invisibly on the wrist, with its 6.3mm tall case being both light and incredibly compact.
