Introduction
Introduced in the 1980s, the Cartier Pasha reimagined one of the maison's most distinctive historic designs for the modern era. Widely attributed to legendary designer Gérald Genta, the Pasha combined Cartier's unmistakable elegance with a bold sporting aesthetic, creating one of the most recognisable luxury sports watches of its generation.
Offered here is the 18K yellow gold Pasha Chronograph ref. 2111 from circa 2000. Combining an automatic chronograph movement with the collection's signature chained cabochon crown, oversized screw-down pushers and beautifully executed guilloché dial, it perfectly captures the character and exuberance of Cartier at the turn of the millennium.

THE DIAL
The ivory dial showcases a variety of finely executed guilloché finishes, creating impressive depth and texture. Applied 18K yellow gold pinball hour markers, a large applied gold 12, black painted Roman numerals, blued steel sword hands and unusual oval recessed chronograph registers combine to create one of the Pasha collection's most distinctive and elegant displays.

THE CONSTRUCTION
The rounded 18K yellow gold case is unmistakably Pasha, featuring the collection's signature chained cabochon-set crown alongside matching cabochon-topped chronograph pushers. A sapphire display case back reveals the movement within, while the sculptural case design balances Cartier elegance with sporting presence.

Condition
Watch is in overall excellent condition. The 18K yellow gold case shows surface scratches and small nicks, with fully legible hallmarks to the case side. The display case back has surface scratches around the edge while retaining well-defined engravings and hallmarks. The bezel has a few light surface marks. The dial and hands are in near-mint condition. It is fitted with a black leather strap and an 18K yellow gold Cartier deployant clasp showing light surface marks.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
The Pasha remains one of Cartier's most distinctive modern designs, effortlessly blending the maison's unmistakable elegance with Gérald Genta's flair for bold sports watch design. In full 18K yellow gold with its beautifully executed guilloché dial and automatic chronograph movement, the ref. 2111 represents one of the most charismatic and wearable interpretations of the Pasha collection.
