Founded on the basis of the very same principles, the Tank Solo collection was launched in the early 2000s to step into the Tank Must de Cartier’s shoes as an affordable everyday timepiece that still honored the Tank’s iconic aesthetic. Featuring the Tank’s signature dial design and layout, the Tank Solo’s main tell is the branchards that travel along each side of its case sit flatter than on other Tank models. Predominately powered by quartz movements to keep their costs down, the Tank Solo has remained an ever-popular Cartier model given its successful leveraging of the Tank’s iconic design and its affordable price point.
