Introduction
Steeped in the illustrious heritage of Chaumet, the Jump Hour A10 epitomizes timeless elegance and innovative design. Crafted from 18k yellow, this masterpiece, introduced in 1992, captivates through the use of a distinctive 36mm wide flying saucer-like case that is immediately reminiscent of the Cartier Pebble. Its sleek, polished finish and hidden lugs exude sophistication and elegance, while the double aperture pairing for its jump hour and rotating minutes disk showcase its avant-garde charm. Powered by the base ETA cal. 2892-2 that has been heavily modified for its jump hour functionality, the A10 ensures precision timekeeping with a touch of obscure vintage allure. Its golden Chaumet-signed rotor, well-finished construction and unique winding crown reflect the brand's commitment to excellence in craftsmanship. As a symbol of refinement and sophistication, the Chaumet Jump Hour A10 transcends time, making it a coveted treasure for discerning collectors and connoisseurs alike that has recently begun to attract the plaudits it deserves thanks to its stylish profile and unique time-telling display.

THE DISPLAY
Lacking a dial in the traditional sense, the 10A's 18kt yellow gold case extends over its front, where only two apertures remain for its jump hour display and rotating minutes disk.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Filling the wrist with its powerful poise, the 10A's 18kt yellow gold saucer-shaped case manages to wear larger than one might assume on the basis of its lug-less design thanks to its rather sizeable 36mm diameter.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The front of the yellow gold case has some surface marks and scuffs, but remains well defined. The case back has crisp and fully legible engravings and hallmarks, and the entire case has developed a pleasing patina. The discs beneath the viewing apertures appear generally clean, but show light signs of aging. The watch is fitted with a navy alligator strap with a yellow gold Chaumet-signed buckle in excellent condition. Watch is accompanied by a period Chaumet box.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
A stylish watch aesthetically rooted in Chaumet's sense of fashion and blended with some rather unique watchmaking, the A10 is an intriguing offering, and the wider collecting community has only just begun to take notice.
