Launched in 2022 as Revolution Magazine’s third, and most recent, collaboration with Chopard stands the stunning L.U.C QF Jubilee – Revolution Edition. While Chopard are perhaps best known for creating timepieces like the Happy Diamonds and Mille Miglia, they also have a fine history in producing some incredibly high-end timepieces from within their L.U.C. sub-brand. In keeping with their desire to produce high-end timepieces, Chopard also collaborated with Bovet and Parmigiani Fleurier in 2004 to create the Qualité Fleurier, a set of tests that had the goal of elevating the objective testing of finished luxury Swiss watches to the highest level imaginable. Indeed, in 2005 Chopard L.U.C. launched their first QF watch and the watch we have here, the L.U.C QF Jubilee – Revolution Edition takes inspiration from that original watch. Featuring a stainless steel 39mm case, this timepiece features a stunning black sector dial that was popularized in the 1940s for scientific chronometer-type watches. Limited to just 25 pieces, the L.U.C QF Jubilee – Revolution Edition also comes powered by one of L.U.C.’s most impressive movements, the L.U.C caliber 96.09-L automatic movement with a bi-directional micro-rotor and a lengthy 65 hour power reserve. Tested to extreme lengths under the Fleurier Quality Foundation’s specifications, the resulting timepiece is a celebration of Chopard’s earlier work and the most challenging criteria for a watch to be tested in the world
