Introduction
Founded in 1983 by German watchmaker Gerd-Rüdiger Lang, Chronoswiss has managed to build a rather reputation for blending traditional Swiss craftsmanship with innovative design, especially given their relative youth. Focused on producing mechanical watches during the Quartz Crisis, Chronoswiss emphasized the beauty and intricacy of mechanical watchmaking. Headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland, Chronoswiss continues to embody its founder's vision by creating timepieces that highlight technical mastery and aesthetic sophistication, much like the Chronographe Rattrapante ref. 7321 that we have here. Created in the 1990s, this timepiece boasts a 38mm 18kt yellow gold case with elaborate finishing throughout such as its fluted bezel and caseback, decorate pushers and crown and long lugs. Featuring an elegant white dial with four sunken subdials and a rather legible array of Arabic numerals and blued steel hands, the ref. 7321’s display belies the complexity of its automatic cal. 732 movement which is proudly on display behind the ref. 7321’s exhibition caseback.

THE DIAL
Boasting a bright white dial with a legible display consisting of four sunken subdials, blued steel hands and Arabic numerals to mark the minutes around the dial periphery, the Chronographe Rattrapante ref. 7321 focuses on easy reading instead of showcasing elaborate craftsmanship.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Taking the reigns that are handed to it by its dial, the ref. 7321's 18kt yellow gold construction aims to highlight Chronoswiss' craftsmanship with its fluted bezel and fluted caseback and elaborately decorated crown and pushers.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. Case shows some signs of wear, with some scratches and marks as well as minor oxidation visible on the case. The watch comes on a generic strap and plated buckle.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
An exercise in measured design, the ref. 7321 combines an elaborate construction with an appropriately restrined display to create a watch that combines the best of both worlds.
