Founded in 1955, Corum are a watchmaker famed for their unique outlook on horological design, with collections such as the Coin and Bubble both standing as aesthetically unique and interesting. However, while Corum does create some off-the-wall timepieces, some of their collections can be beautifully restrained and classical, much like the ref. 94.152.56 that we have here. Featuring a round 18kt yellow gold case with a double-stepped bezel, incredibly ornate lugs and a beautifully simple silver dial with a subtle sunburst pattern and applied indices, this timepiece is a classic piece of 1970s horological design.
