Founded in 1955, Corum are a watchmaker famed for their unique outlook on horological design, with collections such as the Coin, Bubble, and Golden Bridge – all of which standing as aesthetically unique and interesting timepieces that break free from traditional aesthetic and horological standards. Offered here as part of the Golden Bridge collection we have the Golden Bridge Round ref. B113/03277. Designed like the rest of the Golden Bridge collection, but with a twist, the ref. B113/03277 features the collection’s signature internal design whereby its straight line movement makes up almost all of the clock’s internal workings and architecture. However, instead of being vertical, it is horizontal in the ref. B113/03277, which translates through to the watch’s design via its round case shape, as opposed to the typical rectangular design for the Golden Bridge collection. Featuring a diamond-set dial and case, the ref. B113/03277 is a wonderfully avant-garde exhibition of Corum’s unique design language and ingenious watchmaking craftsmanship.
