Introduced in 2014 as the successor to the exceptionally rare Eichi I, the Eichi II is powered by Credor's manually wound Spring Drive calibre 7R14 and paired with a hand-crafted porcelain dial individually painted by hand. Offered here is the coveted GBLT997 "Ruri" edition, whose deep blue porcelain dial takes its name from the Japanese word for lapis lazuli. THE DIAL
Entirely handmade from porcelain, the striking "Ruri" dial is individually fired before each hour marker and inscription is meticulously painted by hand using a fine brush. Named after the Japanese word for lapis lazuli, its deep blue surface provides remarkable depth while allowing the polished platinum hands to appear almost weightless above it. The result is a dial of extraordinary purity that perfectly reflects the philosophy behind the Eichi II.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Crafted from 950 platinum, the elegantly proportioned 39mm case is entirely Zaratsu polished, creating distortion-free mirror surfaces that beautifully complement the understated design. Every element has been carefully considered to allow the dial and movement to remain the focus, resulting in an exercise in minimalist perfection.
THE MOVEMENT
The manually wound Spring Drive calibre 7R14 is one of the finest movements ever produced by Seiko's Micro Artist Studio. Combining traditional mainspring-driven mechanics with Spring Drive's revolutionary glide wheel regulator, it delivers exceptional accuracy while preserving the tactile experience of a mechanical watch. Viewed through the sapphire caseback, its broad bridges, razor-sharp anglage, mirror-polished steel components, blued screws and hand-finished surfaces demonstrate a level of craftsmanship that comfortably rivals the very finest movements produced anywhere in the world.
Condition
Watch is in overall like-new condition. The case shows only light signs of wear with case back sticker still intact. Comes with inner and outer boxes with warranty card.
