A tribute to the French explorer Jules Dumont d’Urville, who named a slice of Antarctica after his wife, Adèle, during his expedition to the continent in 1840, the Antarctique Terre Adélie was launched in 2021 and is a limited edition collection within the Antarctique family with 4 stunning dial variants, limited to 99 pieces. Made of stainless steel featuring Czapek’s own in-house automatic cal. SXH5 with some truly incredible hand-finishing and an ingenious quick-release system on its bracelet, the Antarctique is a superb sports watch in and of itself, but with its stunning “secret alloy” grey dial, the variant we have here is all the more superb and stunning.
