Introduction

Founded in 1989 as one of the early entrants within the modern field of independent watchmaking, Daniel Roth is a watchmaker that quickly gained the plaudits of industry insiders and collectors alike thanks to their stunning creations, fine watchmaking, and dedication to artisanal crafts. With an impressive array of high complication timepieces under their belt, the brand was acquired by BVLGARI in 2000 as the famed Italian jeweler made their way into the watchmaking industry, a move that has since paid off. A cult icon still to this day, Daniel Roth symbolizes the majesty within a unique and distinctive aesthetic - an aesthetic that continues to make their timepieces beloved by collectors around the globe.

Here we have a stunning Daniel Roth Le Sentier Sport S177 from before BVLGARI acquired the brand, sporting Daniel Roth’s signature stepped ellipsocurvex case design crafted from stainless steel with a beautiful two-tone grey and silver dial with vertically embossing and concentric engraving along the silver chapter rings. Set on a disctinctive stainless steel bracelet and featuring a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback, the movement's fine finishing becomes a part of the S177's identity as it so deserves.
