Introduction
Founded in 2003 by Jérôme de Witt, a direct descendant of the French Emperor Napoleon himself, DeWitt was created as a watchmaker that would fuse modern horological craftsmanship with watchmaking traditions in order to create a new style of timepiece. As a result, DeWitt’s offerings are famed for their incredibly unique designs and blend of interesting materials, aesthetics, and complications. Featuring several of those tenets is this DeWitt Furtive that we have here. Featuring a bright yellow dial with a blend of Roman and Arabic numerals and a column-like structure populating its southern hemisphere, this example immediately pops as a rather interesting timepiece that is unlike the majority of watches on the market. Featuring a rather unusual case construction, this example also boasts several protrusions around its diameter, alongside the uniquely shaped lugs which combine to further compound upon its unique design. As a result, this timepiece successfully executes on DeWitt’s goal of creating aesthetically noteworthy timepieces that fit in with modern tastes just as much as they rely on traditional crafts.

Our Perspective
Unapologetically unique, much like most of DeWitt's designs, this example's bright yellow dial and distinctive construction combine to create a timepiece that packs a hefty wrist presence, and better again, it comes as a full set.
