Introduction
Founded in Switzerland in 1889, DOXA has spent much of its modern reputation on a single watch: the Sub 300 that they released in 1967 as one of the first dive watches designed with the diver's actual decompression needs in mind, courtesy of its now-iconic no-decompression bezel. Adopted and championed by Jacques Cousteau's team, the orange-dialed original became a benchmark for functional dive watch design almost overnight, and DOXA has spent the decades since mining that heritage for an ever-expanding family of colorways and case variants. Offered here is the Sub 300 Aquamarine, more than 50 years after the original's debut, offered for the first time in an unlimited carbon edition, a move that pushes the model into a more technical, contemporary register without abandoning its 1967 DNA. Sporting a 42.5mm forged carbon case with a titanium chamber and screw-down case back protecting the automatic COSC-certified chronometer movement with a 38-hour power reserve, it is rated to 300 metres of water resistance, in line with the brand’s sea-faring credentials. This Aquamarine variant features a bright turquoise dial that is then matched with a turquoise FKM rubber strap and PVD-coated folding clasp, the caseback stamped with DOXA's signature fish emblem and chronometer certification markings that confirm the watch's tool-first pedigree beneath its considerably fashionable exterior.

Condition
Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The carbon case is near mint, with only a few signs of careful wear. The no-decompression bezel is free from marks. The case back shows a few signs of wear while retaining crisp engravings. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a blue rubber strap showing some wear to the edges and a PVD-coated steel deployant clasp displaying some scratches and nicks to the finish. The strap fits approximately a 7¼” wrist. Comes complete with box, warranty card, booklet, and lanyard.
Our Perspective
A bold and contemporary evolution of one of diving’s most iconic designs, the Sub 300 Aquamarine in forged carbon successfully bridges Doxa’s historic tool-watch heritage with modern materials and vibrant aesthetics.
