A sports watch in design, and at heart, the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante is, as its name suggests, a monopusher split-second chronograph fitted on an 18kt rose gose bracelet and case that is powered by FP Journe's technically impressive manually-wound cal. 1518 movement made almost entirely of rose gold. Packing 80 hours of power reserve and a flyback function, the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante is perhaps one of the finest and best value high horology split-second chronographs on the market. As you would expect from a watchmaker like FP Journe, this timepiece pulls no punches regarding its construction, engineering prowess or unadulterated beauty. Measuring 44mm in diameter, the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante is certainly on the larger side, and with its precious metal construction and integrated bracelet design it wears with the sort of heft and presence that one would like in a luxury timepiece. THE DIAL
Boasting a grey dial with brown undertones that contrast the warm hue of its 18kt rose gold case, the Monopusher Chronograph sports large Arabic numerals with a large date aperture at 6 o'clock and F.P. Journe's signature screw-down dial plate making up the two subdials.
THE CONSTRUCTION
While its 44mm diameter can sound daunting, the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante benefits from F.P. Journe's impressively consistent proportions and a lug-free design to ensure that it wears smaller than one might initially assume.

Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. Case exhibits minimal surface wear, with the most noticeable area being on the polished buckle, which has many fine hairline scratches and marks. Bracelet has 16 links total, and fits an approx. 7 1/2" wrist. Watch is accompanied by its original guarantee card and USB key.
