Introduction
A distinctive chronograph that combines classic Swiss watchmaking with a sporty, robust aesthetic, the Favre Leuba Sea Sky Chronograph ref. 33033 was launched in the 1960s following Favre Leuba’s attempt to capture the adventurous spirit that had taken grip of that era of watchmaking. Launched during Favre Leuba’s heydays, the Sea Sky features a substaintial, for the time, stainless steel case that is 39mm in diameter and features a rotating countdown timing bezel that emphasizes its sporty design roots. The black dial layout features three silver sub-dials, which have developed an attractive patina, and large pointed luminous hands, which bring both functionality and balance to the display. Powered by a reliable Valjoux cal. 72 manual-wind movement, the ref. 33033 delivers dependable chronograph performance along with its vintage appeal, and durable construction, that has all combined to embody Favre Leuba's legacy and the bygone era of adventurous watchmaking that the Sea-Sky was created during.

Our Perspective
Embodying the vintage aesthetic that so many collectors are drawn to, the Sea-Sky represents a bygone era of watchmaking when these watches were relied on as crucial tools of the trade, and so they were built with that in mind.
