Introduction
Founded in 1992 by Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes and known as the "Master of Complications," Franck Muller, the brand, has grown to become synonymous with complex microengineering, original whacky designs, and incredible attention to detail. Speaking to those traits, the watch we have here is a striking reminder of Franck Muller’s unique aesthetic, the Cintrée Curvex Double Mystery ref. 6850 DM. Featuring Franck Muller’s signature curved tonneau case design in 18kt white gold, this timepiece boasts a comfortable presence on the wrist that is almost entirely unique to Franck Muller. Sporting a stunning silver sunburst dial with an engraved pattern throughout, this timepiece boasts a display free from a traditional handset, with two rotating discs with triangular markers that operate as its hands at its center. Fitted with Franck Muller’s iconic exploding Arabic numerals, this timepiece is a not-so-subtle reminder of Franck Muller’s unique take on horological design.

THE DIAL
Fitted with a silver display that speaks to Franck Muller's signature dial design, the Double Mystery features a concentrically engraved pattern throughout that adds a sense of luxury to its whimsical, hands-free 'Double Mystery' design.

THE CONSTRUCTION
While its 18kt white gold 34mm x 47mm case might sound large, the Cintrée Curvex's short lugs and curved tonneau-shaped case wraps around the wrist in a manner that creates quite a comfortable wearing experience.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT

Condition
Watch is in excellent overall condition. The case shows minor signs of wear, with some fine marks visible along the case. The caseback has some scratches near the upper left screw hole as visible in the images.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
Epitomizing the aesthetic uniqueness that Franck Muller has come to stand for over the last 10 or so years, the Cintrée Curvex Double Mystery stands as one of Franck Muller's most prototypical designs.
