Introduction
Launched in 1969, Gerald Genta, the brand, was founded by the famed eponymous watch designer best known best for creating the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak amongst countless other watch designs. While both of those watches were launched in the 1970s, his brand was immediately successful on account of his already growing renown in the industry. With a growing clientele of royalty such as the Moroccan King, the Sultans of both, Oman and Brunei, the King of Spain, the King of Saudi Arabia, the Queen Mother of England and several leading businessmen, sportsmen and entertainers, Gerald Genta's own timepieces quickly became sought-after pieces of horological royalty. Offered here we have Gerald Genta’s answer to the Cartier Tank Asymetrique, the ref. G3069.7. Boasting a diamond-shaped asymmetrical case made of 18kt yellow gold and sporting a Clous de Paris engraved bezel, this timepiece is rich with Genta’s iconic design language. THE DIAL
Boasting a silver dial, this example's display is actually made of mother of pearl, giving it a wonderfully opulent sense of luxury.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Made of 18kt yellow gold and boasting a diamond-shaped asymmetrical case with engravings throughout its bezel, the G3069.7's construction is full of Gerald Genta's distinct sense of personality.

THE CROWN
In keeping with its asymmetrical design, the G3069.7's winding crown is found at the lower corner of its case instead of the traditional position, which is where Cartier placed the crown on their Tank Asymetrique.
Condition
Watch is in excellent overall conditon. Case shows minor wear, with some marks visible along the lugs and case-sides. Caseback engravings are fully visible, and show nice definition. Original MOP dial shows no hairlines or cracks, and shows little to no signs of aging. The watch comes with an its 18k original buckle, and is accompanied by original guarantee certificate, box and hang tag.
