Introduction
Founded in 1791 and best known for their fine watches, Girard Perregaux are one of the oldest watchmakers in the world that are still in operation. Over the many decades of their long-running history, Girard-Perregaux has become synonymous with interesting design, impressive craftsmanship, and beautiful timepieces just like this Cat’s Eye Tourbillon ref. 99495. Made of 18kt white gold, the ref. 99495’s oval-shaped 36mm x 31mm case features luxurious diamond-setting around all of its bezel and lugs, and crown. Sporting a pave diamond-set dial, the ref. 99495’s display serves to highlight the incredible watchmaking that powers its movement, the manual-wind tourbillon cal. GP9007.0A. With three of Girard Perregaux’s iconic bridges in brightly polished 18kt white gold, the ref. 99495’s display reveals a staggering level of craftsmanship, especially with its tourbillon at 6 o’clock and mainspring barrel at 12 o’clock that combine to highlight just how much craftsmanship went into this timepiece.

Featuring a pave diamond-set dial with three of Girard Perregaux's bridges in 18kt white gold, the ref. 99495's display is already quite special, but with its tourbillon at 6 o'clock, it is truly out of this world.

Boasting an oval-shaped case that lends it its name, the ref. 99495 wears on the wrist with a unique poise and wrist presence, a presence that is all the more luxurious thanks to its diamond-set bezel, lugs, winding crown, and deployant clasp.

Condition
The watch is in overall excellent condition. The white gold case remains well defined, with surface scratches and a couple of tiny nicks on the polished sections. The diamond-set bezel and lugs are in excellent condition, as is the diamond-set winding crown. The case back has light scratches, with fully legible hallmarks and engravings. The diamond-set dial is like new, as are the hands. The watch is fitted with a navy generic alligator strap in excellent condition, secured by a diamond-set deployant clasp that is also excellent.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
