Tracing its origins as far back as 1696 thanks to being founded by English horologist George Graham, and so Graham is a hallowed watchmaker with a rich history. However, the brand eventually faded into obscurity after about 100 years of operation, and in 1995 it was revived by a group of enthusiasts who were keen to pay homage to the brand’s work by creating impressive chronographs and other unique watches, one of which we have here, the Graham Tourbillograph Trackmaster Chromium ref. 2TWTS.B05A.K47F. Launched in 2010, the Tourbillograph Trackmaster is a 47mm stainless steel timepiece that combines a chronograph with a 60-second tourbillon that was designed specifically to improve the accuracy of the chronograph’s function. Boasting an off-center lightweight tourbillon that is resistant to shocks, the tourbillon's high precision and durability is reinforced by the unique “Coq” and upper bridge construction which are inspired by 18th century English high precision timepieces like those that Graham would have originally produced. Featuring a sporty black dial with plenty of lume and large Arabic numerals where its subdials and tourbillon aperture allow, this timepiece is as high adrenaline as they come. Complete with a clous de Paris bezel and a tyre-effect rubber strap, this timepiece’s unique aesthetic is as impressive as the watchmaking that it contains.

The watch is in near-mint condition. The stainless steel case shows light signs of wear and a few minor marks. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a black rubber strap showing light wear and a stainless steel buckle with a couple of very light scratches.

Aesthetically unique like so many of Graham's timepieces, the Tourbillograph combines the brand's distinctive design DNA with an impressive array of watchmaking to create something that is as technically astute as it is physically impressive.
