Featuring a blue “Mt. Iwate” dial with a power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock that is balanced out by a running seconds subdial at 9 o’clock along with some incredibly well-executed dauphine hands and applied indices, this timepiece showcases Grand Seiko’s impressive level of craftsmanship. Powered by the impeccably finished manual-wind Spring Drive cal. 9S63, the SBGK005 is a relative rarity within Grand Seiko’s offerings as the brand normally focuses on automatic Spring Drive movements. This decision allows the SGBK005’s 11.6mm tall 39mm stainless steel case to wear with a relative elegance and dressiness that Grand Seiko’s typical offerings do not possess. THE DIAL
Showcasing Grand Seiko’s impressive level of craftsmanship, the SGBK005 features a textured blue dial inspired by the volcanic ridges found on Mount Iwate, with a power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock that is balanced out by a running seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, along with some incredibly well-executed dauphine hands and applied indices.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Boasting an elegant 39mm stainless steel construction with a flat bezel and polished bevelled lugs, the SGBK005's case is perfectly suited to its elegant leather strap.

Condition
Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The steel case shows signs of wear with some light surface scratches visible on the polished sections. The dial and hands remain like new. It is fitted with an alligator strap and a steel deployant clasp, both in near-mint condition. Comes complete with inner and outer boxes, warranty, booklets, document holder, hangtags and cloth.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
