Launched in 2018, the SBGE243 is not like its more typical Grand Seiko counterparts. Powered by the incredible Spring Drive movement technology that Grand Seiko pioneered, the SBGE243 boasts the cal. 9R66 movement that is famously accurate and robust, but that is not all. While limited editions are not new to Grand Seiko, they are often produced in thousands of pieces, but the SBGE243 is different; it was launched with just 20 pieces, making it incredibly rare. Made of ceramic and titanium, it features an all-black case with Grand Seiko’s signature case shape, a matching black bezel and a glossy black dial with golden inscriptions and rehaut to help communicate this reference’s rarity. Offered only to Grand Seiko’s most trusted VIP clients, it does not often find its way to market, and so we are delighted to present this incredible example to you.

In keeping with its ceramic case, the SBGE243 features a jet-black dial and bezel combo that completes the sleek blacked-out aesthetic.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Thanks to its ceramic and titanium construction, the SBGE243 wears incredibly light on the wrist.
THE MOVEMENT
The watch features the 9R66 movement with Spring Drive technology.
Condition
Watch is in near-mint condition. The ceramic case shows no wear, with only minor wear noticed on the titanium underside near where the straps attach to the lugs.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
