Launched in 2021 as a collaboration between relatively young New-York-based watchmaker Hoffman, who seeks to create vintage-inspired sports timepieces and Perpetuel, the UAE-based watch retailer, the Khaleejuna Wahed Collection was created as a way for Perpetuel to celebrate the six Gulf states and Perpetuel’s diverse network of collectors that span the Middle East. Featuring one reference per state, and each limited to just 50 pieces, this 300-piece limited edition collection pays homage to each state’s national emblem and colors through the Hoffman Racing 40’s dials. Offered here we have the Omani, Kuwaiti and Qatari variants, each housed within identical 40mm stainless steel cases that feature aluminum bezel inserts and exhibition casebacks that reveal their manual-wind Seagull cal. ST-1901 movements. Boasting a green, blue and burgundy dial respectively, each variant boasts the country’s corresponding national emblem and a Arabic script. This script reads “safety” for the Omani variant, “Peace” for the Kuwait, and “Glory” for the Qatari.
