Famed for their unique aesthetics and wild designs, Hublot are a brand that have driven the watchmaking industry’s ever-evolving expectations of what a watch should look like. While it began with their “Art of Fusion” movement in the 1980s by combining precious metals with rubber straps, their modern day watches continue to be aesthetically and visually unique, much like this Big Bang “Madre Perla.” Made of titanium and stainless steel, its 41mm case features the Big Bang’s signature tonneau case shape with its exposed screws and multi-textural construction through its plethora of finishes and surfaces. Offered with a white dial to match its white rubber strap, this example features a baguette-cut diamond-set bezel that adds another touch of bright white color to its design while also elevating its sports watch DNA into the realm of distinct luxury. Featuring three subdials for its chronograph function alongside applied indices that mix between Arabic numerals and stick indexes, the Madre Perla’s aesthetic champions its legibility and functionality all while maintaining its luxurious design and distinct presence on the wrist.

Watch is in excellent overall condition. Some signs of wear are visible along the metal surfaces of the case such as the corners at the lugs. The clasp has some larger scratches. The caseback also features some light abrasions from being laid down.

Intensely stylish and wonderfully designed with its construction merging three materials together, the Madre Perla is a wonderful example of Hublot's "Art of Fusion" ethos.
