Introduction
A quintessential 1990's stealth watch, the IWC Ceramic Flieger was produced in less than 2000 examples, starting in 1994. Although IWC had explored the use of ceramic cases earlier in the 1980's, the 3705 is perhaps the most famous and successful application of this difficult to use case material. The watch became an instant classic upon release, and hence IWC released a tribute edition of this watch in 2021.

The overall condition is excellent. The dial and hands are perfect, and the ceramic mid-case shows no signs of wear. The stainless steel caseback only has light surface scratches and the original leather strap is still in pristine condition.
Our Perspective
The 3705 has always been a personal favorite of mine from the 1990's. When it first came out, I remember thinking how unique the black case was. It is not often that one finds an example in such amazing condition, that also comes with all of its original accessories.
