Introduction
Launched in 1994 and produced until 2005, the IWC Fliegerchrongraph was perhaps one of IWC’s most popular timepieces at the time, with its historical link to IWC’s pilot watch heritage. Designed as the perfect pilot's watch, it features a stainless steel case, a heavily modified automatic Valjoux cal. 7750 movement housed within a soft-iron anti-magnetic casing (to maintain accurate performance in a cockpit) and a spectacularly legible matte black tritium dial with a rather useful day and date complication to boot. Finely finished with an educated blend of satin and polished finishing across its 39mm stainless steel case, the Fliegerchrono was clearly planned to withstand an arduous life of action in their air. A true pilots watch from a true pilots watchmaker, the Fliegerchrono is a spectacular piece of fusion between the horology and aviation sectors, in keeping with their famously tight-knit heritage.

THE DIAL
Featuring a black dial with bright white luminova hands, Arabic numerals and crisp inscriptions, this example's dial is incredibly legible and well-preserved.
THE CONSTRUCTION
A well-fitting watch for a pilot's watch emerging from the beginning of the large watch trend born during the 1990s, the Flieger's 39mm stainless steel case wears well and just like any modern chronograph.

Watch is in overall near-mint condition. The case is thick and free from any obvious damage, and the luminova dial and hands are mint. Watch comes on a generic strap with a generic buckle.
