First debuting in 1992, the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control is a vintage-inspired collection rooted to the 1950’s aesthetic of old with elegant dials, refined constructions and brilliantly executed movements – all benchmarks of JLC’s talents as a watchmaker. Offered here we have the Master Control Mechaquartz Chronograph 145.8.31 from the mid-2000s with a stunning silver dial and a stainless steel case that comes in at 34mm in diameter with a vintage-inspired silhouette arising from its curvy lugs and flat bezel. Boasting a black dial with white inscriptions and red accents, the ref. 145.8.31’s display is immediately legible while also stylish and unique. Functional through its mechaquartz cal. 630 movement, the ref. 145.8.31 comes complete with a mechanical chronograph function and a date function, joining the benefits of quartz technology with the artistry and mechanics of mechanical watchmaking. Sized at 34mm and only 8mm tall, the ref. 145.8.31 is imbued with the Master Control’s vintage styling and heritage-inspired construction.

The watch is in overall excellent condition. The steel case has light scratches on the polished sections. The back of the case and the edge of the display case back show signs of wear, with light scratches and wear to the screw heads. The dial and hands are in near-mint condition. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap with steel pin buckle and is also accompanied by its original Jaeger-LeCoultre deployant clasp in excellent condition.
