While designed with a simple and easily understood layout and case, the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea ref. Q2028440 actually features a complex movement, the automatic cal. 956 with over 265 parts and an alarm function that is loud enough to be heard underwater. Launched in 2011 and limited to just 359 pieces, the ref. Q2028440 is offered as the US-Market Edition of the Memovax Tribute to Deep Sea, with its identifiable full LeCoultre logo in lieu of the European market’s full ‘Jaeger LeCoultre’ and inscription “Deep Sea Alarm Automatic.” at 6 o’clock, instead of the European’s edition lacking any inscriptions. Measuring in at 40.5mm in diameter, the ref. Q2028440’s stainless steel case wears elegantly on the wrist and embodies the classy aesthetic of which JLC has championed over the last several decades.

Watch is in overall excellent condition. The steel case shows hairline scratches across the surfaces and both crowns. The case back displays some scratches while retaining well-defined engravings. The bezel has a few scuffs along the edge, while the insert remains very clean. The dial and hands are like new. It is fitted with a black leather strap and a steel pin buckle, both remaining in excellent condition. Comes complete with inner and outer boxes, warranty papers, booklets and hangtag.
