Introduction
Founded in 1833, Jaeger LeCoultre has had one of the most successful and illustrious careers as a watchmaker, with over 1200 movements created and 400 patents filed under the brand's name. Today famed as the "watchmaker's watchmaker," Jaeger LeCoultre is best known for supplying movements to brands like Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and a whole host of other horological heavyweights. Offered here, we have a vintage Jaeger Le Coultre ref. 2721 Triple Date, a fine 18kt pink gold dress watch with a stunning silver dial that houses a useful set of functions, such as its pointer date, the day, and date, all of which are displayed in red, and serve as perfect complements for its 18kt pink gold construction and dial furniture.

THE DIAL
Littered with bursts of red thanks to its triple calendar functions, such as its day, date, and month complications, the ref. 2721's silver dial perfectly matches its 18kt pink gold case.

THE CONSTRUCTION
A rare mid-century example of Jaeger LeCoultre's horological capabilities and confidence to do their own thing, the ref. 2721's large, for the time, 37mm case allows the watch to be easily enjoyed to this day.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in overall excellent condition. The rose gold case shows surface scuffs and scratches, with clear hallmarks visible on the case side and lug. The case back retains well-defined stamps. The dial remains excellent, with some light surface spotting, while the hands are very clean, with a small chip visible to the red tip of the calendar hand. It is fitted with a brown alligator strap and a gold-plated Jaeger-LeCoultre pin buckle showing some tarnishing.
Please note: The watch ticks at time of cataloging, but timekeeping is poor and a service is recommended.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
An extremely rare watch that provides a wonderful insight into Jaeger's history as a fine watchmaker, this timepiece balances a luxurious construction with a utility-rich design perfectly.
