Kollokium's Projekt 02 moves away from the hundreds of individual pins that defined Projekt 01 and explores three-dimensional dial construction in an entirely different way. Founded by Manuel Emch, Barth Nussbaumer and Amr Sindi, Kollokium deliberately describes itself as a project-based platform rather than a traditional watch manufacture, allowing each Projekt to pursue a distinct idea without being tied to a fixed design language. For Projekt 02, that idea is a topographical dial constructed from 67 separate metal plates, stacked across nine levels to create something resembling a three-dimensional hypsometric map.

Variant C, released in 2026, takes that architecture and introduces a graduated palette running from cool white at the highest points through nine tones to deep turquoise at the lowest. Each of the 67 plates is individually hand-painted with lacquer incorporating blue-emission Super-LumiNova before being assembled and pegged together, a process that takes around six hours for each dial alone. The result sits beneath a tall cylindrical sapphire crystal inside Kollokium's distinctive raw die-cast steel case. Limited to 299 pieces according to Kollokium's own product information, Variant C combines an unusually labour-intensive dial with an intentionally industrial approach to case construction.
