The Friedrich III is one of the purest expressions of that philosophy. This example pairs the manufacture's signature 39mm triple-lug case in 18K rose gold with a solid silver dial finished in deep galvanic black. Rose gold lancet hands and elongated Roman numerals provide an elegant contrast, while the in-house manual-wind calibre VI delivers the extraordinary movement architecture and finishing for which Lang & Heyne has become renowned.

THE DIAL
The solid silver dial is given a rich black galvanic finish, providing an elegant backdrop for the elongated Roman numerals and shapely rose gold lancet hands. A generously sized recessed small seconds display at six o'clock features concentric snailing, while traditional railway tracks frame both the minutes and seconds.
THE CONSTRUCTION
The entirely polished 18K rose gold case measures 39mm across and just 10.5mm thick. Lang & Heyne's distinctive triple-lug architecture, sculpted crown guards and onion-shaped crown give the Friedrich III an immediately recognisable profile while retaining the proportions of a traditional dress watch.

Watch is in overall like-new condition. The case shows only light signs of wear or handling. It is fitted with a leather strap and an 18K rose gold pin buckle. Comes with the inner and outer boxes, warranty, booklet, and C-clip.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
Lang & Heyne's appeal lies in its ability to combine genuinely traditional Saxon watchmaking with a design identity all its own. The contrast between the black galvanic silver dial and warm rose gold case gives this Friedrich III a particularly strong presence, while the exceptional calibre VI ensures there is as much to admire from the back as there is from the front.
