Founded as a microbrand watchmaker that focuses on producing small scale limited edition timepieces, Laventure have grown from their humble beginnings in 2017 as just another project on Kickstarter into a popular independent watchmaker who now has a handful of releases under its belt that are all becoming more and more popular than the last. Offered here we have Laventure’s Sous Marine Bronze that was launched in 2019 as a limited edition of 99 pieces. With round curves, rounded rectangles and soft lines that make for an appealing aesthetic on the wrist, its 41mm bronze tonneau-shaped construction is indeed well executed. However, the Sous Marine’s black sandwich dial is perhaps the star of the show with its sunken hour markers filled with patinated luminescent material from beneath that gives the impression of age and vintage that is only then built upon by the patina that builds upon the Sous Marine Bronze’s case.

Watch is in excellent overall condition. Minor surface wear visible, mostly oxidation, but a few light marks and scratches. The bronze case sruface exibits the typical patina associated wtih bronze watches.
