Introduction
Famed for their whacky designs, incredible engineering and fresh concepts, MB&F has become one of the most influential independent watchmakers in the world. Of course, like most MB&F timepieces, the HM10 Bulldog is no ordinary watch, instead a truly wonderful celebration of horological passion and wonder. Inspired by a rather unlikely source, like so many of MB&F’s horological machines, the HM10 Bulldog is inspired by man’s best friend. Boasting a long and slender case construction with articulating lugs (legs) that wrap around the wrist, the HM10 is far more comfortable than one might expect from an initial glance. Featuring ‘eyes’ for its dial, the HM10 uses two aluminum balls that rotate independently of one another as they display the hours and minutes while their 14mm balance wheel is suspended above them within the glass dome that simulates the Bulldog’s head. Launched in 2020 and unapologetically MB&F in its inspiration, design, execution and horological might, the HM10 Bulldog is perhaps the perfect example of why the brand has become such a success as Max Busser drives the brand forward with the sort of joyous enthusiasm that the watchmaking industry has completely lacked for far too long, especially within the world of high end luxury watchmaking that MB&F inhabits.

THE DIAL
With the HM10's Bulldog-inspired construction comes a Bulldog-inspired display, which results in the HM10 featuring two separate 'eyes' which indicate the hours and the minutes as they independently rotate around a luminous triangle.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Thanks to its articulated lugs that result from its canine-inspired design, the HM10's 54mm long titanium wears much smaller than you might assume thanks to how its lugs wrap around the wrist.
