Introduction
Released in 2014, the MB&F HM6 Space Pirate is the pure embodiment of the famed independent watchmaker's unique and wonderfully whacky design language. Designed to look like a spaceship, it features a bi-morphic case crafted from grade 5 titanium. To achieve this design, the aptly named HM6 Space Pirate boasts sapphire domes at each corner of its construction that form its displays. The two domes facing the wearer house semi-spherical indicators that rotate vertically to display the hours and minutes. The other two domes house turbines that spin to regulate the winding system against excessive speed and bring another level of intriguing design language to what is already an exceptionally eclectic timepiece, as is MB&F’s remit. However, while its displays are unique and interesting, the HM6 Space Pirate's crown jewel is the tourbillon housed within the dome at the centre of the watch, which can be hidden behind a shield using the crown at 9. A unique looking watch from a unique watchmaker, the HM6 Space Pirate is unapologetic in its design language.

THE DIAL
In keeping with its atypical source of inspiration and unique execution, the HM6's dials are exceptionally unique. However, they still maintain impressive legibility thanks to their digital displays which make for easy reading.

THE CONSTRUCTION
Deriving its inspiration from a rather unlikely source, "Captain Flam," a Japanese anime TV series from the 1970s and 80s, the HM6's titanium case embodies MB&F's whacky esoteric design language perfectly.

TIMING MACHINE READOUT
This reading was taken (crown down) with a ONEOF Accuracy Boutique Edition timing machine at time of cataloging. It is provided as a courtesy only, and shall not be construed as a warranty or guarantee of any kind. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.
Condition
Watch is in near-mint overall condition. There are light signs of wear and use visible on the case, but no major scratches or marks.
Please Note: Due to CITES considerations, if the watch is to be shipped outside of the USA, the exotic skin strap will have to be removed.
Our Perspective
Exceptionally unique and designed like no other watch on the market, the HM6 takes an unlikely source of inspiration and uses it to create something fun and unusual - hallmarks of Max Busser's style as a watchmaker.
