Introduction
In a short time since its first watches hit the market in 2017, MING has built a reputation as a small brand that makes high quality and thoughfully designed watches in very limited quantities. This formula for success was validated in 2019, as the brand took hom the GPHG award for Horological Revelation for the 17.06 Copper.
The 18.01 H41 Diver in Titanium was announced and released in 2020. An evolution of the original Abyss 18.01, it features a slightly slimmer profile and a slightly updated aesthetic. The watch is quite a functional dive watch, with a depth rating of 1km as well as extensive use of Super-LumiNova X1 on all lumious areas. It is powered by a ETA 2824-2 movement, which is know for its reliability.

THE DIAL
Featuring MING's signature luminescent pattern that uses a luminous material made by LumiNova, called X1 on its dial and uni-directional dive bezel, the 18.01 harbors the same stunning design language as MING's other releases.

THE CASE
With MING's signature flared lug design, the 18.01's 40mm case sits comfortably on the wrist thanks to careful design considerations to ensure its lugs hug the wrist and are sufficiently downturned.

Our Perspective
Ming's 2nd successful execution of a dive watch design, the 18.01 signifies Ming's increasingly proficient ability to release different types of watches and expand their horological offerings.
